DDM Potluck n Movie Day

Just a reminder. Tomorrow is our end of the semester Potluck and Movie Day. If you can bring something GREAT we will be glad to eat it. If your just to busy with finals to think about it just stop by and have a snack, relax and watch a movie too if you have time. It should start around noon and go till around 5 (latter if you guys want).

Correction

I will be in tomorrow. Don't forget potluck n movies tomorrow too. 

Final Portfolios

Will be collected on Thursday during our normal class time. The studio will be open if you have work to do but attendance is not required. I will be in today around noon but will not be accepting work until Thursday.

Mid Proces May 2 12:32

Yes,  Everybody does the :30 lets be unique 12:32!

Just a reminder on a few things that many of you seem to be forgetting:

• The type MUST be PART OF (physically connected to).
• The Illustration, and your own type (not a font that you traced).
• Mid Process means... The work is FINISHED to the best of your ability. You take the info from the crit to improve it further. 

Studio Day

Today is a studio day. I am not sure that I will be in, if you have questions email or chat.

Mid Process crit will be Thursday. Post your work on your blog before class. We will be reviewing them on the monitors in class. You do not need to comment on each others blogs.

Final

Its a little early, but better early than late. Late portfolios will not be accepted.

Your portfolio, as you should know by now is a pdf of all of the work that you have done throughout the semester.  It should include an

• Intro Page: The class name, number, semester, your name, instructors name, and date.
• Index: List of content (assignment's)
• Content: Assignments
• Extra: Not required. Extra credit may be considered for... any illustration work you have done during this semester. This can not be work that was included in an assignment. It can be work that you have done with, but not used in any of the assignments (not versions of things you used but unique images that were not used). So if you made any images but did not include it as part of a project you can get credit for it. If they are not digital you can scan them.
• Closing: A page that will indicate that the viewer has reached the end of the document.

Good News & Bad News

The Good News: We are very close to having our full A.A. and A.F.A. Degrees approved and do away with the A.A.S. that causes us so many problems.

The Bad News: I have no help in getting it all put together and the revisions need to be in this Friday. Sooo... to get it done I have to cancel all my classes this week.

Assignments: Post your BOOM (or what ever word you used) on your blog. There will be another short project Thursday.
